Today, through the Government of Ensenada´s official website, they shared that as part of the economic revival some places already have permission to open, so they will soon be able to reopen casinos, gyms and movie theaters.

This, according to Ensenada's municipal president, Armando Ayala Robles, is done so that companies do not close permanently and are able to keep jobs, avoid unemployment and layoffs and most importantly bankruptcy.

Regarding the movie theaters, the Department of Sustainable Economy and Tourism, the Department of Health and Civil Protection, all of the entities involved agreed that they can only operate with 30% of its capacity. The same thing will happen with the casinos.

About the casinos, Ayala Robles emphasized: "The same with the casinos, which agreed to delay the opening for 3 weeks. They complied well, but if we don't authorize them to reopen, they will close down permanently".

The official date for all these establishments to open is unknown, but it is estimated that it will be soon, since many businesses need to open or risk closing permanently.

Apart from casinos and movie theaters, approximately 16 gyms will be able to receive their customers again, since they complied with the required regulations. According to Ayala Robles, he is concerned about the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, but the economy must also be taken care of.
