Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando announced their event cancelation through their social media

Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have announced through their social media accounts that they have chosen to make a difficult decision for one of their most anticipated events this year, Halloween Horror Nights will be cancelled in 2020.

The parks continue to face ongoing commercial restrictions and uncertainty about their opening date.

Universal Orlando Resort will focus exclusively on operating its theme parks for guests during the day, using the improved health and safety procedures already in place.

It´s important to remember that Universal Studios Hollywood in California is temporarily closed to the public due to the peak of confirmed cases in the state.

This is one of the most anticipated events for the Halloween season, and will return in 2021.
