According to Cadena Noticias, at six o'clock in the morning, more than a hundred Central American migrants left the shelter to go to the US Consulate General in Tijuana, where they demanded that the authorities accelerate the processing of political asylum.

At about 9:50 in the morning, the migrants arrived outside the facilities of the American consulate, which was guarded by security forces. Alfonso Muñoz, representative of a Honduran civil organization, told the media that a proposal letter and demands would be delivered to the Consulate of the United States.

What they seek is to accelerate the process of acceptance of political asylum. While marching towards the Consulate, the migrants sang the national anthem of Honduras and waved the flag at the same time.
