The magazine Bloomberg Businessweek has shared for the second time a list where it places the 50 most outstanding people in the world of 2018, in which the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, takes place.

The new president of Mexico is on the list along with other celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon and even the Korean band, BTS. The magazine details that the people on the list are "icons" that have changed the global business landscape over the past 12 months.

Bloomberg Businessweek includes people from different fields, such as entertainment, business, politics or finance.

Lopez Obrador is in the category "The new populists" where they point out that he is the third president who is not part of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) since the 1910-20 revolution.
