Baja California Breweries Win Bronze Medals at World Cup 2018

The fourth edition of the 'World Beer Cup' 2018 took place in Nashville, Tennessee, where two Mexico breweries rose to the podium winning bronze medals in different categories.

The brewery, originally from Tijuana, Rámuri was in the category of Coffee Stouts and Porters with its Odín beer . The native brewery of Mexicali, Fauna was recognized in the Export Stout category with its Nox Arcana.

Cervecería de Colima
was another Mexican brewery that joined the winning club, ranking third in the Light Lagers classification with its Cayaco beer.

The 'World Beer Cup' is held every two years since 1996 to increase consumer awareness and promote excellence in brewing.

There are more than 90 categories where only the most qualified judges of all the world are dedicated to tasting the participating beers. In this edition, Mexico was also represented on the jury with two Mexicans, José Ruiz and Rodolfo Andreu, founders of the Cerveza México Cup.
