The San Ysidro Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 95th anniversary with its annual gala dinner, presented by the Hensel Phelps Construction Company and UETA Duty Free. As the evening’s theme focused on the launch of the Chamber’s efforts to “Bloom the Boulevard,” an exceptional keynote address was carried out by Marco LiMandri, President of New City America, creator of Little Italy and partner in creating San Ysidro’s business improvement district.
After Mr. LiMandri captivated the crowd with his message regarding the myriad of possibilities for San Ysidro, as well as the Chamber’s launch of the Urban Land Institute’s Technical Advisory Panel (TAP), he insisted on four pillars that are necessary to make it all happen:
