Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are Back in "Holmes & Watson"

A comedy inspired in this famous detective and his companion

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly were born to be together, and that's why Sony wants another film with them as the stars. According to Deadline, the duo of actors will be starring the Holmes & Watson film, a B rated comedy in which Ferrell is the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful friend Reilly and companion, Watson.

We've seen them in Talladega Nights and the two actors certainly had it good in Step Brothers, where we ROFL'D our life away while they made each other's life impossible till they became very good friends.

Holmes & Watson also brings back Ferrell with director Etan Cohen, who previously worked at Get Hard. The film was originally intended to be done with Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen, who had a minor character in the comedy Talladega Nights.

We have seen too many adaptations of Sherlock Holmes in recent years: two movies with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, the most recent and an older version of the character with Ian McKellen, and Benedict Cumberbatch with "Sherlock" series. Sony now brings his own version, which will certainly be completely different from those already mentioned.
