With the intention of honoring one of the most important instrumental musicians of the last half-century, the community of the "Pasaje Rodríguez" cultural area in downtown Tijuana, will hold a Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass tribute.
The legendary musical group won six Grammys and in 1966 sold 13 million copies.In that same year, Alpert was mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records for placing 5 albums on the Billboard charts at the same time. His music has transcended through time and his followers still enjoy his hits.
The OMEGA orchestra, made up of local kids and teenagers, will perform TIJUANA BRASS' music along with multiple artistic interventions during the event which will take place on October 23rd at the Pasaje Rodríguez located in Ave. Revolución between 3rd and 4th street at 8:00pm.
