Chef Javier Plascencia announced the inauguration of the first branch of his restaurant "LUPE" at the Tijuana International Airport (AIT) to offer his delicious flavors to visitors from all over the world.

On social media, the renowned Tijuana native chef happily confirmed that he and his team were able to achieve this goal, making 2024 another special and significant year for them.

“LUPE” started as a family business in Valle de Guadalupe. However, little by little, this food truck was able to expand and establish itself in Tecate, Ensenada, and now Tijuana, delighting patrons with its delicious tacos, tortas, seafood, and much more.

“Thank you for your support and loyalty to all these things that are made with so much love in Baja California”, Plascencia stated.

LUPE, located at terminal 11, is a must-visit destination —if you're traveling to or from Tijuana by air— where you can taste first-rate meals, especially their tortas and smoked meals.
