Disney to Invest in Ensenada Theme Park?

Said Héctor Bautista Mejía, director of the Integral Port Administration in Ensenada

The director of the Ensenada port-authority, Héctor Bautista Mejía, said today during a press conference that Disney will invest 20 million dollars, along with other partners and cruiseship companies, to create a theme park in the municipality, after seeing the big increase in cruise to the port.

So far it is the only information provided by Mejia, more knowledge on the matter will be available in approximately 15 days.

Wild speculation ran rampant early, with headlines saying that Disney by itself was building an entire theme park in Ensenada. The little information the port director gave says that it's more of a many-partnered project in the works.
