TIJUANA.- The delivery of medical funds that the mayor, Dr. Jorge Astiazarán Orcí participated in is part of the city's government constant effort to better the conditions of vulnerable tijuanenses so that they can carry out their daily activities without any issues.
During the event, which was done at city hall's conference room, mayor Astiazarán Orcí noted that this support is given in response to the community's request made to the Department of Social Administration, where the people who most need it benefit from it.
"This help was possible thanks to citizen's contributions made directly to the city's local government, it's generous and responsible tijuanenses who we have to be thankful for these benefits that reach you through the government" added the mayor.
On that day, myoelectric, ocular and hip prosthesis, as well as different surgery certifications, intraocular lens surgery and orthopedic and hearing devices. It's worth noting that these certificates cover the cost of the surgeries and the post-surgery therapy.
After delivering the contributions, the mayor congratulated the beneficiaries and asked them to take full advantage of the benefits awarded so they can continue their daily activities.
The local government's private secretary, Alejandro Montiel Campos was also there, as well as the beneficiaries and their families.
