A Pfizer executive is being held in a prison in Puerto Rico after being detained by the U.S. authorities on the island on charges of child pornography, said today the federal prosecutor in San Juan, Rosa Emilia Rodriguez.
The Pfizer executive was identified as Reinaldo Diaz Camacho, 48, known as "Rei Diaz" and resident of Moca, municipality located west of Puerto Rico.
Camachos arrest occurred after police received information of someone who was having conversations of sexual nature with a minor of 16 years of age through the social network Facebook.
Rodriguez said that the boys mother was interviewed by agents of the Department of Homeland Security, who confirmed that she had intercepted conversations between her son and Diaz Camacho.
Investigators from Homeland Security also found explicit messages and photos in the minors phone, which led to the arrest of Diaz Camacho at his home and is now only waiting to be processed.
