It was time now for the concert and the president of DIF Tijuana, Carolina Bustamante thanked the press for their time, and also all of the businessmen who offered their support to make this event possible for all the families here in Tijuana.
The concert now began and the Vazquez Sounds were introduced, Gustavo, Abelardo and Angie who kicked of the show with one of the songs from the Jackson Five "I want you back".
The event was obvious that it was for the entire family, and although the Vazquez Sounds are mostly known for song covers, the artist that have influenced them go from the Beatles, Jackson Five, Adele and even more contemporary artists like Lenka, Demi Lavato and a repertoire that without a doubt transcends several musical generations.
The crowed in attendance did not stop screaming and singing along, and it did not matter if the song was in English or Spanish, they even sang to the most recent anthem "thanks to you" of the telethon 2012.
Other songs of the night were Skyscraper, Set fire to the rain, The Show and Let it be.
A very important factor of the success of the young musical group is the support of their father Abelardo Vazquez Sr., who also is also known for discovering the most successful musical talent of Baja California "Reik".
Their father observed them while on stage and during the press conference, and also commented that for the family the most important thing was the wellbeing of his kids, and that it's their job as parents to look after the best interest and development of their children, in which having them do what they do in their everyday life was important.
As far as in professional matters, he said that he is still supporting them, but they did not have a formal plan, and for the time being they are working with the soloist Beto Espinoza on a project, as well as the base player of Nikki Clan, which is another band that has made a name for themselves due to his support.
