Rocío Adame Muñoz, candidate for the mayor's office of Playas de Rosarito, revealed a comprehensive proposal to strengthen tourism and the economy of the gastronomic industry in the city in order to boost sustainable development in the restaurant industry.
Before members of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC) of Playas de Rosarito, Adame Muñoz listened to the main concerns of attendants, which focused on the insecurity experienced by tourism and the business sector.
We know that tourism has been bothered and mistreated by different types of crime. It is time to take real actions and take care of those who visit us and are an essential part of our economy. Corruption within the police department is the first issue we are going to eradicate.
In addition, other main actions proposed by Adame Muñoz is the creation of a strategic plan to promote tourism in the region, focused on diversifying tourism offerings and the promotion of cultural and sport events. They are also looking to improve tourism infrastructure.
Another area of concern in the business sector is incentives and financing for entrepreneurs and small businesses and the creation of a unique office window to speed up opening processes and make procedures easier and digital.
Moreover, Adame Muñoz highlighted the importance of having a delegation of the State Commission of Protection Against Sanitary Risks (COEPRIS), which works very closely with the restaurant industry to optimize processes. This is why she stated that during her administration she will manage the creation of this state agency in the municipality.
