Why is the peso appreciating?
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there was an increase in non-agricultural US income in March, which also means an increase in remittances to Mexico.
In other words, in March, there was a higher admission of dollars into Mexico than an exit of Mexican pesos.
