A museum in San Diego was rated as one of the 10 best museums in the United States. This is the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

The list was made by travel magazine "Travel + Leisure" which placed this museum at Balboa Park among the first places of this ranking.

This museum is located at 2001 Pan American Plaza in the old Ford building and it is part of the National Register of Historic Places.

This place was founded in 1961 and, since then, it is known for preserving the history of aviation in San Diego.

The museum now joins a list of internationally renowned institutions such as the National Air and Space Museum Smithsonian in Washington DC and the National Naval Aviation Museum in Florida.
