1st Week
The theme of the 2024 Fair, "Let's Go Retro", evokes nostalgia with a fun approach, while the Toyota Summer Concert Series is featuring artists whose careers have spanned decades and other popular current artists. Most of these shows have been scheduled and there are only a few dates left to be announced.
Kolohe Kai will inaugurate the program on the Fair's opening day. After that, Old Dominion, a modern country band headquartered in Nashville which has been awarded by the Academy of Country Music and nominated to the Grammys, will follow. On this opening weekend, TLC, the most successful female R&B group, will be performing, while Pepe Aguilar will offer the first concert in Spanish of this Fair's edition.
2nd Week
During the 2nd week, southern rockers Whiskey Myers, a band influenced by grunge group Nirvana and country legends such as Waylon Jennings, will be performing. After that, Kings of Late Night: Jay Leno, Craig Ferguson, and Arsenio Hall will take the stage. This trio of comedians, actors, writers, and successful producers, all of them with experience in classic night talk shows, will offer several different comedy styles at the Corona Grandstand Stage.
3rd Week
During this Fair's third week, country group Little Big Town, known for their four-part vocal harmonies, will be performing. In addition, Ludacris, rapper, actor, and hip-hop icon, and Grammy award winner will perform. And to conclude this week, Los Tucanes de Tijuana will be featured.
On the last week of this Fair, Yung Gravy, accompanied by special guest Tayler Holder, will offer a night of funny melodies that combine hip-hop, pop, and country.
The Fair will continue its Independence Day tradition with its fireworks shows and it will close the season with a performance by Hombres G, the famous pop-rock Spanish band that became internationally famous in the early 1980s due to its distinctive sound.
