The head of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC), General Leopoldo Tizoc Aguilar Durán, reaffirmed that he is in close contact regarding information exchange with US authorities so as to carry out proper investigations regarding the case of an agent who was suspended from the Citizen Security State Forces (FESC) and subsequently arrested in San Diego, California, due to possession of illegal substances on November 22, 2023.
It should be noted that this state officer identified as Mizraim "N" had been under investigation for a few months by the SSCBC Internal Comptroller, which is why he had been suspended from patrolling duties.
SSCBC reaffirms its commitment with working hand in hand with authorities investigating the wrongdoing of those who are part of this institution, making sure that there are consequences for those who are looking to destabilize the great work they've been doing to benefit all Baja Californians.
