San Diego's iconic Christmas boat show is here! This traditional Christmas parade which takes place at San Diego Bay will be with us very soon as the Christmas holidays begin to entertain thousands of families.
This is the 53rd Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights and it will be a unique experience for all Christmas fans. This experience will delight everyone for two nights, December 10 and December 17. Participants will decorate their boats according to a specific theme, which is yet to be revealed.
This parade of lights attracts around 100,000 residents and visitors from San Diego to the bay. 80 boats will parade in the San Diego Bay which you will be able to enjoy for free. For the sixth time, this parade will move towards the pier at César Chavez Park before making a turn towards Coronado, providing spectators different angles from where to witness this amazing show.
San Diego Bay Parade of Lights will begin at 5:30 PM and these are the times of arrival depending on location:
- Shelter Island (beginning of parade) at 5:30pm
- Harbor Island at 6:15pm
- The Embarcadero at 6:45pm
- Seaport Village at 7:15pm
- The pier at César Chávez Park at 7:30pm
- Ferry Landing in Coronado at 7:45pm
