Craft brewery "Eden's Sins Brewing Co.", from the municipality of Playas de Rosarito, won a gold and a bronze medal at professional competition "Copa Cerveza (Beer Cup) México 2023” that took place this weekend in Mexico City.

César Rivera González, President of the Committee of Tourism and Conventions of Playas de Rosarito, underscored that in the last few years craft beer made in Playas Rosarito has been gaining ground in the region and in the country which has contributed to strengthening the gastronomic and tourism offerings of this destination.

"That's why we are very pleased to know about these awards won by this Rosarito native brewery, placing our destination's name in high places, and that allows this industry to be known and allows Playas Rosarito to position itself," he said.

"Eden's Sins Brewing Co." is a recently created craft brewery, established in 2016. In the 2023 edition of "Copa Cerveza México" this Rosarito native brewery won the gold award with its "Sunrise Lager" and they won bronze thanks to their "Eva Dark Lager".

"Cerveza México" is Mexico's most important event about the beer industry, which takes place every year with the participation of craft beer makers. Homemade and specialty craft breweries, as well as producers, distributors, and providers of these drinks, all participate in "Copa Cerveza México" which is the most important craft beer competition nationwide.
