San Diego will celebrate Day of the Dead to the fullest: there will be food, competitions, and much more!

Day of the Dead is an important date in Mexican culture; it is when we honor people who have passed away in our unique style. As we know, in San Diego there is a great number of Mexicans which is why it is not surprising that this festivity is celebrated with the same enthusiasm as in Mexico.

In fact, the California Center for the Arts in Escondido will celebrate this day on a large scale and in its 28th edition you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the wealth of Mexican traditions.

This event has been described as a "unique experience that combines joy, music, the arts, and ancestral traditions" that attracts hundreds of people every year. This year will be very special because there will be a Frida Kahlo exhibition, a Catrina competition, live music, and delicious traditional food.

This event will take place on November 1, 2023 from 4 PM to 9 PM at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, located in 340 N Escondido Boulevard, Escondido, CA 92025.
