Discover the perfect time to view the annular solar eclipse in Tijuana at its maximum splendor

The eclipse will occur tomorrow. Don’t miss this amazing show!

It's almost here! On Saturday, October 14, the awaited annular solar eclipse will be visible in Mexico, however, you have to keep an eye so that you don't miss it, otherwise, you will have to wait until 2056.

It is very important to remember that if you want to view the eclipse and you don't have special glasses, you cannot watch the sun directly. This could damage your retina and in the most severe cases it could lead to total loss of vision, according to the Mexican Academy of Ophthalmology.

However, it is recommended that you use special filters with welding lenses No. 14, as they won't damage any part of your sight. On the other hand, knowing the best times and moments to watch this beautiful and wonderful natural wonder can be a good idea.

In Tijuana, the annular solar eclipse will begin at 8:09 AM, the maximum point will be at 9:26 AM, and it will end at 10:53 AM. In our city specifically you will be able to view the eclipse at Trompo Museo Interactivo, however, if you wish you to watch it from your home, you'll be able to buy special glasses at this museum so you can enjoy it with no worries.

It should be noted that if you don't have any special equipment and you don't have time to look for them, there are two websites that will broadcast the eclipse: one of them is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) site who will broadcast each phase of the eclipse on October 14.

The National Committee of Eclipses in Mexico will also broadcast the eclipse on their official X, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. Keep an eye on all recommendations and news about this annular solar eclipse and don't miss this wonderful and beautiful phenomenon.
