Playas de Rosarito is one of the favorite destinations to host gastronomic and cultural events in Baja California; in addition, for the last three years, the "Valle en la Playa" festival has taken place. In this festival, both locals and tourists can enjoy the best wines of the state that stand out due to their exquisite flavors and scents.

The Committee of Tourism and Conventions of Rosarito (COTUCO) invites you to this unmissable family event whose goal is that all attendants learn more about the state, its wines, gastronomy, and music.

This festival is part of the vast gastronomic offer that has positioned Baja California as the main enotourism destination nationwide where you can try and learn all about the best wines.

This event will have capacity for up to 500 people and it will take place on Sunday, October 1 and will begin at 1 PM. With a 7-hour celebration, you will be able to enjoy live music, a guest DJ, and many more surprises.

Cost of admission is $600 pesos ($34 dollars) per person and this ticket will give you access to 10 gastronomic samples, 5 wine samples, and a commemorative cup.

The gastronomic offering will gather several different flavors characteristic of the region, using fresh ingredients and made by the best chefs in Valle de Guadalupe. Some of the guests at this event will be: Joel Quintana of Restaurante Merak, Alex Flores of Restaurante Alma Tierra, Javier Altamirano of Restaurante Maglén, among others.

This experience will also include you being exposed to highly internationally renowned wineries such as LA Cetto, Santo Tomás, Corona del Valle, among others.

In addition, "El Valle en la Playa" will bring the unique flavors of Ensenada and will offer exceptional food pairings, made by distinguished chefs from Valle de Guadalupe.

Regarding music, the main show will consist of TJ 5, a group made up of former members of The Voice Mexico and La Academia: Frank Di, Dalia Duarte, Laura Caro, Samantha Rae, and Edwin Music, who will make you sing and dance with their incredible show.

With your attendance you will support a good cause, as the 4th edition of this festival will benefit the "Mujeres Informadas, Mujeres Poderosas" association. This non-profit organization provides psychological assistance, informative workshops, and feminist support in Rosarito.
