Autumn is one of people's favorite seasons, as cold weather and festivities begin, but above all, there are the colors and products of this season such as pumpkins. Though the United States is known for its pumpkin patches, Tijuana has a spot that gathers the best of autumn in a huge field that seems right out of a fairy tale.
Ruta del Maíz comes back to Tijuana with its 2023 season
Ruta del Maíz (Maize Route) has brought the best of autumn to Tijuana in the last few years, with amazing fields filled with orange, red, and brown hues, alongside beautiful colorful flowers, pumpkin patches, areas with animals, and photo spots that are perfect to visit alone, with your partner, with friends, and with your whole family.
The 2023 season of Ruta del Maíz will begin on Saturday, September 16, welcoming all attendants who have awaited returning to this beautiful place.
How can I go to Ruta del Maíz?
Though last year had days for reservations and no reservations, this year it has been revealed that it will be open without any reservations necessary as long as one visits in the following dates and times:
- Monday to Friday: 12:00 pm to 04:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 am to 04:30 pm
It should be noted that the field will be closed on Tuesdays.
Prices
There were some changes this year as admissions will only have one price. It will be $150 pesos per person (children and adults pay the same, children 2 years or younger will be admitted for free). This ticket will include surprises that haven't been revealed yet.
