In order to celebrate the International Day of Youth, the Institute of Youth of Baja California is inviting people to participate in the “Carrera Recreativa 5 km” (3 Mile Recreational Race) that will take place in the municipality of Tecate in order to promote the participation of young people in sports.

The Director of Juventud BC, Francisco Molina, explained that registrations are open during youth month and that he is inviting all young people to participate in this "Corre con Causa" race. Registration is done by donating school supplies, which will be delivered to the most vulnerable communities in order to support young people when they go back to school.

People interested in participating should register online. They can get all the information they need on social media by visiting the Juventud BC Facebook page or by calling the following number: 686 568-4009, ext. 109.

This recreational race will take place on Saturday, August 12 in Hidalgo Park, located at Calle Ortiz Rubio and Callejón Libertad s/n, Downtown, at 6 PM.
