The annual Caesar salad festival will come back to the city, an event that celebrates the famous dish created in Tijuana by Chef César Cardini in the 1920s, when one day he ran out of ingredients and decided to improvise a dish with romaine lettuce leaves, raw egg yolk, parmesan cheese, and other things, transforming it all into something surprisingly delicious.
This festival has been celebrated for years and its goal is to pay tribute to this exquisite dish and promote gastronomic tourism in Baja California.
In its 2023 edition, the event will take place at Av. Revolución, between Streets 4 and 5 on July 30 from 1 PM to 10 PM.
Attendants will be able to try this internationally renowned dish, accompanied with the best music: a lineup of artists has been made for this event with local talent and first-rate performances.
