Expo Mueble promotes the entrepreneurs of Baja California with free pavilion: learn all about its requirements

Small entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to participate in northwestern Mexico’s most important event

Playas de Rosarito will be the venue of the best of Mexico’s design and fabrication of furniture with Expo Mueble Baja California from Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14 at the Baja California Center.

The exhibition gathers 100 of Mexico’s most outstanding furniture designers and manufacturers and it will be open with free admission from 10 AM to 8 PM.

At a press conference which took place in CANACINTRA facilities, Commercial Director of Expo Mueble, Lorena López Mijangos stated that at this event people will discover, not only fabrications by artisans and designers but also the latest trends in interior design. She also mentioned that of the 100 exhibitors, 40 are from Baja California.

For her part, Expo Mueble General Director, Maricruz Arizmendi, stated that through the Subsecretary of Economy of Baja California, Michelle Guerrero Jaimes, an alliance was created so that certain spots in this exhibition were destined for the state’s micro and small companies who wish to show off their products at no cost at all. This pavilion provided by the Expo Mueble Committee alongside the Secretariat of Economy for entrepreneurs is a space of approximately 200 meters.

For the Expo Mueble Committee, it is important to give visibility to small entrepreneurs at this type of events, which is why they invited all furniture makers of the region to take part in this exhibition as it is the most important event in northwestern Mexico.

The only requirement to participate at this event is to be registered in the Secretariat of Finance and bring their general and tax information so that they can be added to the exhibition’s program. Any maker of interior design items is welcome, including those which are merely decorative such as plastic paintings, wall decorations, or centerpieces.

Despite the fact that Expo Mueble is open to welcome any company that wishes to have its products known, it was thought of as a way to support women entrepreneurs in Baja California and furniture-related businesses. The Secretariat of the Economy of Baja California, by providing a pavilion for manufacturers and artisans, has as a goal to support and benefit the growth of this industry in Baja California.
