Are you a fan of the animated movie “The Princess and the Frog”? We have good news for you as the French Market Restaurant at New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park will soon be retooled as “Tiana’s Palace”.
According to what was shared by Disneyland on their official website: “We are excited for the opportunity to tell even more Tiana stories in New Orleans Square. We recently opened Eudora’s Chic Boutique featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets, a new retail shop also inspired by the character.”
As we already know, this is not the only plan with this character. Next in line is Tiana’s Palace which will open at the end of this year, followed by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the exciting attraction that will be inaugurated at Disneyland in 2024.
How will this new restaurant look like? Within its peach-colored walls and fancy green wrought-iron balconies, you’ll find elegant fixtures and appointments reminiscent of Tiana’s life and friendships which will also offer authentic New Orleans flavors.
It should be noted that to carry out this project French Market Restaurant (and Mint Julep Bar) will be closed starting February 17, 2023. It will reopen as Tiana’s Palace (alongside the Mint Julep Bar with its famous mint juleps and Mickey beignets) later in the year.
