National Meteorological Services (SMN) has forecasted for tomorrow Tuesday, November 8, 2022, minimum temperatures of 0 to 5 °C with possible frost for the mountainous area of Baja California, as well as the possibility of snow in the region.
Low temperatures forecasted for Baja California will show up as snow. As the state goes through a new cold front linked to polar low pressure, it is expected that snow appears at mountainous areas starting Tuesday, November 8.
According to the official report, which showed the presence of a low-pressure channel, that has spread all over the western Gulf of Mexico to the south of the country, as well as humidity coming from the Pacific Ocean, showers and heavy rain are expected. They will be accompanied by electric discharges in the northern, eastern, southern, and southeastern part of the country. This is according to the official report published by the official website of the government of Mexico.
For Baja California, they have mentioned that tomorrow a minimum regional temperature, especially in the mountainous area, of -10°C to -5°C is expected which will be accompanied by frost. There is also a chance of snowfall or sleet for Sierra de San Pedro Mártir and intermittent showers with torrential timely rain in the entire region.
On the other hand, the report mentions that for Wednesday minimum temperatures will continue to be -10 or -5 °.C, with intermittent showers. The report also states that all forecasts will be accompanied by rain with possible electric charges or hail. There is also a chance of sleet or snow at Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, B.C. for this day.
The Meteorological System forecast covers around 96 hours, whose time period was validated,; starting at 14:00 PM on Monday, November 7 and ending tomorrow on Tuesday, November 8 at 8 AM.
