The ideal mix of extreme adventures, closeness with nature, wildlife, and delicious gastronomy all come together at Pai Pai Ecotourism Park in Ensenada.
Here you will experience an unforgettable time with family and friends since it is the only place in northwestern Mexico that has an Animal Conservation Center where visitors can interact with several different animal species such as felines, lemurs, eagles, snakes, horses, and other farm animals.
At the same time, for adrenaline lovers, the park also has ziplines circuits, euro bungee, bicycle ziplines, wall climbing, and interpretative horse riding so you can enjoy the natural landscapes around you.
In an interview for San Diego Red, the park’s Public Relations Director, Sandy Pérez, told us all about how the Ecotourism Park came to be:
Everything came to be due to a dream to make people participate in our species conservation program which is called Rescatando Vidas (Rescuing Lives). Adding to this, we want people to visit us and learn while having fun, this is why we have created many adventures that help us to be self-supporting.
Leydi San Martín, staff member, added:
In this program, people can interact with monkeys and have a spectacular adventure in Tiger Land where you can feed a tiger in an underground tunnel. This can be done both by children and adults.
Highlighting that the most important thing is nature, the team has created here an oasis where they replanted endemic species of Ensenada, which makes all wildlife animals, especially birds, come to the park.
Opening hours at the Pai Pai Ecotourism Park are from Wednesdays to Monday from 9 AM to 7 PM, while on Tuesdays they are closed. No reservations are required.
The place is located at Kilómetro 6 at the Ensenada-La Bufadora Highway.
Always a highlight in Ensenada is its gastronomy which has become a worldwide attraction for tourists, which is why Pai Pai Ecotourism Park also offers delicious dishes. One of its restaurants, “Suculenta” specializes in “Mexiterranean” dishes which is a fusion of Mexican cuisine with Mediterranean ingredients.
On the other hand, “Madagascar” restaurant has a very fun theme, as if you were on an exotic island, where you will have in front of you a lemur habitat, while you eat huge hamburgers, firewood cooked pizza, and a drinks bar for children and adults.
The staff of Pai Pai Ecotourism Park has invited businessmen and schools to take a trip in the park. The cost per person ranges from $499 pesos ($25 dollars) for adults, and for children, $450 pesos ($22.50 dollars). There are also packages for those who wish to have a more complete experience.
It should be noted that on November 1st and November 2nd, this park will have a great nighttime adventure called Mictlán, in honor of Day of the Dead.
