According to the Mitofsky polling firm, Marina del Pilar was the highest-rated governor in all of Mexico in November 2021, as well as one of the most popular governors (among men and women) in the country. Similarly, at the end of December, the polling house released new results after just a month in office.
Marina del Pilar has once again been proclaimed as one of the politicians who holds the most popular governorship, with more than 60 percent approval, in fact, of the Top 5 governors, exactly like she did in the November edition. The top ranked is the only one with a steadily increasing approval rating (see the poll below):
Mauricio Villa (PAN), governor of Yucatán; Miguel Riquelme (PRI), governor of Coahuila; and Carlos Joaqun González (PAN), governor of Quintana Roo are all ahead of the governor of Baja California in terms of acceptability.
Avila Olmeda also outperformed Claudia Sheinbaum, the Mayor of Mexico City, by two percentage points, putting her in fifth position in Mitofsky's Top 5.
