Government of Tijuana launches app to speed up transactions

You will also be able to report deficiencies in any service

The Government of Tijuana has launched the Tijuana Movil app, with which the population will be able to make appointments and initiate processes from the comfort of their cell phone by generating a QR code, which must be presented when going to the corresponding office.

Tijuana Móvil was created through the Information Technology Department last June, and is available for any device, either IOS or Android. In addition, it does not require a lot of memory space, thus providing a better service to users.

The municipal agency, creator of the application, explained that this tool provides the options to make appointments at the Civil Registry Office, where birth certificates, CURP clarifications, adoption and dual nationality can be processed. Civil marriages and divorce can also be scheduled, thus avoiding lines and waiting times.

Another of the services offered by the application is the consultation of the location of the vehicles towed by the Municipal Police, just by entering the serial number or license plates to locate the pension in which your vehicle is located. In this sense, it will also be possible to make a complaint or incident, through the Citizen Attention System, by means of photographs and location, information that will be shared with the agency that requires it.

In addition, the population can report the deficiency of a service, such as garbage collection, run over or mistreated animals, and even potholes on the streets, which will be forwarded to the corresponding agencies. All of this in order to avoid saturation of the emergency lines.

The Directorate of Information Technology urged citizens to use this new option, in order to receive attention and facilitate procedures, which will generate a faster attention, avoiding delays and lines in the different offices.
