In Baja California there are still 432 active cases of COVID-19, 305 of the total are in Mexicali, 106 in Tijuana, 10 in Ensenada, six in Rosarito, three in San Felipe and two in Tecate.
However, these are the neighborhoods in the different municipalities where most of the cases are concentrated:
- Tijuana: Costa Hermosa Section, Maclovio Rojas, Altiplano, Francisco Villa, Leandro Valle (Las Flores), Nueva Tijuana and Libertad.
- Tecate: Colinas del Cuchuma and Rincón Tecate.
- Rosarito: Lomas de Rosarito, Parcelas, Ampliación Lucio Blanco, Villa del Mar, López Gutiérrez and Centro Carretera.
- Mexicali: Hidalgo, Valle de Puebla, Villas del Colorado, Villa las Lomas, Puebla, Victoria Residencial, Valle del Álamo, El Robledo, Héroe de Nacozari and Esperanza.
- Mexicali Valley: Lázaro Cárdenas, Querétaro, Michoacán de Ocampo, Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Zapata, Guadalupe Victoria and Ciudad Coahuila.
- San Felipe: Ampliación Segunda Sección, Segunda Sección, Baja Marina and Nuevo San Felipe.
- Ensenada: Mar de Ensenada, Ejido Ruiz Cortines, Condominio Los Laureles, Granjas el Gallo, Carlos Pacheco 4, Vista Hermosa, Chapultepec and Vista al Mar. [ul]
- San Quintín: Maclovio Rojas.
During his daily report, the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, asked the population that lives or travels through the mentioned neighborhoods to reduce mobility or to be "extremely careful", since there are chains of transmission and they can become infected and carry the disease to their homes.
At the same time, he indicated that specifically in the Mexicali neighborhoods, a municipality with an orange traffic light, "activities are restricted". Some of these activities are swap meet, and church attendance.
