They said it this Saturday: Baja California will start the week in orange, this means a greater opening for all businesses that have been suffering the damages of the pandemic almost a year since it started in the State.
All businesses will continue to have a limited capacity, but while some will be 50 percent, others will enjoy 65 percent, but what are those spaces? Reportedly, gyms, swimming pools, sports centers and spas will have a capacity of 65%.
On the other hand, crowded places such as cinemas, theaters, museums and cultural events will be able to open 50%. The same logic will apply for commercial and religious centers (mosques, churches, temples, synagogues...).
Even hotels and restaurants will be able to use their capacity at 75 percent of what is allowed. What the Secretary of Health of the State, Alonso Perez Rico, did specify is that the activities in bars and nightclubs will continue to be suspended.
This decision was taken due to the fact that the hospital occupancy rate is at 27.96%, which is why the traffic light in this section is green. Nevertheless, infections continue, since in 24 hours 80 new cases were counted and 40 people lost their lives.
