Rosarito Beaches reopened in response to low levels of pollution

According to the authorities of this municipality the levels of contamination have decreased

As it became known a few days ago, due to an accident at the sewage treatment plant located north of Rosarito, which also affected the power supply, authorities of this municipality kept their beaches closed, since the level of contamination in the water was unknown.

However, this Tuesday, October 20th, the Rosarito Beaches Government informed through its social media that as of today they are again open to the public since a decrease in pollution levels has been observed.

The hours in which you can enter these beaches of Baja California remains as it was before this accident, Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The authorities asked visitors to continue respecting the prevention measures before the COVID-19, and the regulations regarding the activities that can be performed in this space: Walking, jogging, swimming and surfing, as well as not throwing garbage in prohibited areas.
