WHO: More deaths from COVID-19 in October and November

Complications will grow in Europe, according to Hans Kluge

The World Health Organization indicated that the number of deaths from COVID-19 could increase in Europe during the months of October and November. They will be "tougher" in the face of the pandemic, Hans Kluge said.

At the moment, the situation in the old continent is stable, considering the number of deaths; however, the cases of COVID-19 have increased, which will lead to a resumption of the pandemic.

The director of the European branch said he was aware that "countries do not want to hear this kind of news" but "we do not even know if the vaccine will be effective in all sectors of the population," noting that "the end of this pandemic will be when, as a community, we have learned to live with this pandemic. And that's up to us".
