The famous cruise company, Carnival, announced its return to different ports around the world starting in October 2020, though this is bad news for Mexican travelers who were waiting for this cruise, since it will not arrive at the port of Ensenada until 2022.
On Carnival's official website they announced the trips that are suspended until further notice, while they will be arriving at various ports, you can see that the trips will begin between 2020, 2021 and 2022 in the various cruises.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has ordered that cruise trips will not resume until October, so Carnival could begin operations within three months.
If you wish to purchase a trip to or from the port of Ensenada through the website, it only allows you to select dates starting in January 2022, so this cruise will not be seen on Ensenada's beaches until two years from now. To be exact, trips can be booked starting on January 6, 2022.
Due to the upsurge in cases of coronavirus in Ensenada, the cruise is not contemplating returning this year.
The General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine announced that in 2019 at least 950 cruises were received in the Mexican Pacific.
