After the health contingency caused by the outbreak of coronavirus in the world, hundreds of non-essential businesses had to close their doors to the public to avoid further infections by this virus. One of the most affected industries at the moment are the bars, because they are still not allowed to operate based on the traffic light risk chart and especially in the state of Baja California which remains in red.
This week the reopening of another recognized bar in Tijuana was announced, Cheers bar and grill, which posted on its social media its reopening this Saturday July 17th starting from 4:00 p.m. The bar restaurant has not given more information about how it will reopen, the maximum capacity it will have or what measures it will implement.
Although bars are not allowed to operate yet, in previous weeks one of the most recognized tourist bars in Rosarito Beach, the legendary Papas and Beer, prepared for a reopening to receive tourists who celebrated the Fourth of July on the beaches of Baja California. The reopening caused a sensation and indignation in social media.
