Today, messages from Uber started to appear in our emails. Through these messages we were informed that some changes to the charges were going to be made. These are directly connected with the Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Law of the State of Baja California and the Finance Law of the State of Baja California.

This means that from today Uber will have an extra cost, which will appear on the bill as "Government Contribution". And what does this mean? It means that of each trip made, 1.5% of the fare will go to the State of Baja California.

According to Uber: "The charge will appear on all travel receipts with Uber's app... any questions, please contact us through your app. Just press: Help < Travel & Fare Review < Rates & Fees".

We remind you that, since May, Uber implemented a new verification technology. This will notify your clients if their driver is wearing a mask before they take a trip.
