Sierra de San Pedro Martir Got Covered With Snow This Sunday

The state welcomed a snowfall this weekend

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced in previous days that between Sunday and Monday the snow could reach the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir and, apparently, it happened.

Alejandro Terán, who works at the Astronomical Observatory of the UNAM and lives in Ensenada shared some photographs where he shows the snow that covered the mountains in the month of May.

Even the Sierra de San Pedro Martir official page shared Alejandro's photographs accompanied by the message: "Snow fell in San Pedro Mártir in May."

It is not known if by the moment the presence of snow continues in the Sierra . These photographs were of Sunday.
