The Mexican Customs Office in Tijuana announced that on Thursday Nov. 3 the lanes for light vehicles in the Otay Port of Entry will be closed from 12:00 am to 4:00 am.
According to a statement sent on Tuesday, the closure will be for cars that want to cross from the United States to Mexico, because a bridge-like structure on these lanes will be placed, part of the overall expansion and remodeling work being carried out on the Mexican side of the border.
People who want to cross into Mexico in those early Thursday hours, can do it through the other Port of Entry "El Chaparral" in San Ysidro, which will be normally operating for travelers.
