MEXICO.- The most intense hurricane in recorded history is still a CAT 5, even though a small weakening before making landfall, with winds of almost 200 mph and gusts of even more. It comes with intense and probably historic rains that will affect the Mexican states of Jalisco, Colima, Zacatecas, Queretaro and possibly other nearby states.
Exact place where Hurricane Patricia made landfall in Jalisco. It arrived with 165 mph and 920 mbar, the strongest hurricane ever recorded to make landfall in the western hemisphere.
