Cost of medical and business tourism pass in Tijuana - San Diego decreases

Authorities pointed out that the proceeds go to the Tijuana Fund Trust, which finances micro and small businesses

Tijuana authorities inaugurated last Monday the new location of the fast lane for Medical Services and Business Tourism at the border in San Ysidro, which is accessed by Paseo de los Héroes Avenue in Zona Rio, that is, where the general line was previously located.

In addition to this, the government of this municipality informed that the cost of the passes provided for these services decreased from this month to 200 pesos per user and for Business Tourism it would be 360 pesos.

According to a press release, this is an important incentive for the economic development of the city since the proceeds go to the Fideicomiso Fondos Tijuana, which finances micro and small businesses.

Currently this lane has an extension of one kilometer and was adapted with all the technical equipment for the agile crossing of the users.

During the event, the following people participated: Patricia Peterson, Secretary of Urban and Environmental Territorial Development; Gabriel Camarena Salinas, President of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) in Tijuana; Abraham Sánchez Frehem, President of the Baja California Medical Cluster; Dr. José Luis Rodríguez Rodríguez, President of Baja's Health Cluster. Ricardo Vega Montiel; the head of the Tourism and Welfare Department of the State Government of Baja California, Atzimba Villegas Pérez, and the Baja California Tourism Undersecretary, Ivette Casillas Rivera, among other authorities and chamber representatives.
