TIJUANA.- A group of fellow students and family members of Eneyda Ramos Noriega, a young woman murdered by a former boyfriend last month, stood outside one of Tijuana's courthouses-penitentiaries holding candles and banners in peaceful demonstration, demanding justice against those responsible for her death.
Over 50 people were gathered in this vigil, lighting tens of candles and two long banners, as well as several pictures of Eneyda, side by side with the girl's parents, Benito Ramos León and Cecilia Noriega, who manifested their great appreciation for the student's attentions and support throughout this whole situation; Eneyda's father said, "they extinguished a life, but my daughter lit thousands with hers".
Eneyda's family asks for justice to be made and the courthouse to abide by the law; meanwhile, her fellow medical alumni have started work on a foundation that will provide psychological help to other students in need.
