Cyber-activist group "Anonymous" are at it again, this time they hacked into the U.S. Federal Reserve and stole a good amount of information.
It is being estimated that the amount of data that was stolen was on 4,000 bankers, but a spokeswoman for the Federal Reserve said, "The exposure was controlled quickly after its discovery and is no longer a problem. This incident did not affect any critical operations of the Federal Reserve."
Anonymous announced this attack via a Twitter account, @OpLastResort, and is part of an operation against the U.S. Government in memory of Aaron Swartz.
With these types of actions they are trying to pressure the government to make changes in the laws that are related to cybercrime, similar to Aaron's Law.
