Winter weather has seemingly finally arrived in Baja California, and Tijuana is ready to welcome 2024 with a noticeable weather change: cold, wind, and rain. According to weather experts, on Monday, January 1, 2024, rains will begin to occur in the region.
Fortunately, forecasts indicate that rains will be light, which means there won't be thunderstorms or heavy rain. However, the city will be cloudy during the first week of the new year, especially on Tuesday when rain will come back.

Temperatures will drop significantly, with the lowest one being 6°C and the highest one being 16°C. These temperatures are forecasted for Sunday and Monday. Starting on Tuesday, a continuous temperature drop is expected.
Authorities of the Civil Protection Agency of Tijuana have called on prevention as weather conditions can change quickly. They have warned about the chances of rain and isolated showers, accompanied by SSE winds that will evolve to OSO with speeds between 15 to 30 km/hour.
