During the press national conference that took place on Friday, November 10, which took place in the city of Tijuana, President López Obrador reaffirmed the federal government’s total support for the current administration of Baja California, led by Governor Marina del Pilar.
The president claimed that he will be in Baja California for what is left of the week and that he will join the governor during her second governmental report, which will take place on Sunday, November 12 in Playas de Rosarito at 11 AM.
Contrary to tradition, the president said that his presence during the governmental report will be an exception to demonstrate that the governor is alone and that she has his government's total support. This is due to certain questions that were brought up during the press conference regarding the attacks that Marina del Pilar has endured.
Despite the aggressor’s name not being revealed, it is publicly known that there have been countless unjustified attacks without any evidence by senator Bonilla against Governor Marina del Pilar.
Jaime Bonilla has been accused of several corruption acts, among which there are the illegal use of allocations and powers and abuse of authority regarding millionaire contracts for the illegal construction of the photovoltaic Next Energy plant.
