Going to the circus is one of those experiences everyone should do at least once in a lifetime. However, going to one of the most famous circuses in the world is not always possible due to its reduced locations, but this time Tijuana natives and San Diego residents will have the opportunity of going to the wonderful Cirque du Soleil which will bring its show titled “Corteo”.
Corteo by Cirque du Soleil will impress San Diego
This amazing contemporary circus show will bring its unique magic to Pechanga Arena starting on Wednesday, September 6 until Sunday, September 10. They will perform the show "Corteo" which is about "a festive parade imagined by a clown."
This show premiered in 2005 and is directed by Swiss playwright Daniele Finzi Pasca who claims that "this show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth."
How many shows will be performed in San Diego?
Though this show will be in San Diego for 5 days, there will be 7 shows in the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, September 6: 07:30 pm
- Thursday, September 7: 07:30 pm
- Friday, September 8: 07:30 pm
- Saturday, September 9: 03:30 pm and 07:30 pm
- Sunday, September 10: 01:00 pm and 05:00 pm
In addition, the audience will be positioned in a very unique way as the performances will take place in the middle of the audience as seats were moved so that the stage would be among the public.
Prices
