Closing of activities expected in Baja California: Department of Health

After this week there will be news about the measures and actions that will be taken in the entity.

According to Dr. Perez Rico, the situation in Baja California is not favorable and social distancing must be further reinforced. Unfortunately this is not being exercised, so he adds that there will be closures of activities in certain sectors after this week.

Yesterday in his technical report on the current situation of the state of Baja California under COVID-19, Dr. Perez Rico reported the concern about the upcoming winter season.

Certain activities are coming to a halt, and actions must be taken to ensure the good of the state. In this sense, the use of face masks and distancing must prevail.
We are asked to be co-responsible for moving forward as a state.

Either the active cases are decreased or we will start the winter season with increases and possible resurgence. A similar case, as it happened in Europe, details Perez Rico.

The protocols for day care centers and shelters reopenings are being analyzed, but work is still underway.

Finally, it is pointed out that massive events are not yet permitted. No concerts, no soccer games with fans, since many people have doubts and ask about it. Mass gatherings of people are not allowed.
