A year ago was the last tour of the Riviera de Ensenada Social Civic and Cultural Center. In spite of this, most people did not expect the return of the tours due to the current situation of the coronavirus pandemic. However, authorities have given the green light for this to be possible.
The justification, besides the economic reactivation that the municipality has been focusing on for some months, is that it is a space used to "promote culture in the population," according to the Ensenada government's social media.
And when will you be able to take the famous tour? Friday 9 and Saturday 10 of October, in the hours of 9 and 10 at night. However, since the state remains in orange, the maximum number of people per tour will be 50% of the capacity, that is, 25 people maximum.
The main attraction will be the tour of the building that was originally a luxury hotel and casino and that today has become the Riviera de Ensenada Social Civic and Cultural Center and is an Artistic Heritage of Mexico and Cultural Heritage of Baja California. There they will tell you the history, myths and legends.
The tour arrives just in time for the Halloween season and the Day of the Dead, which is characterized by rides to haunted houses, scary storytelling and, for the quieter ones, scary movie nights with some goodies. What do you say, will you dare?
